ACADEMIC_LISTENING_MODULE Academic listening has 4 sections. Each section has 10 questions. Listening lasts about 30 minutes and students get extra 10 minutes to transfer their answers to the answer sheets. In section 1, you will listen to a conversation between two people on social needs. Section 2 contains a speech by a single person. In section 3, there is a conversation among 3 to 4 people about education, training, assignments and other educational topics. # SPEAKING_MODULE Speaking module consists an interview which lasts about 11- 14 minutes. It has  # three  parts. 1.  # INTRODUCTION :- In this part, an examiner asks general questions about yourself and a range of familiar topics, for example as hometown, family, hobbies, daily routine, work, studies. This part lasts between four and five minutes. 2.  # CUE_CARD :- In the second part, you will be given a topic. You will have one minute to prepare for the topic and you will have to speak about that topic for up to two minutes. The examiner will then ask one or two general questions on the same topic. 3.  # FOLLOW_UPS :- In the follow ups, examiner asks about some questions related to the topic given to you. Here, you get a chance to explain your point more clearly. This part lasts up to 5 minutes.

Let's discuss the difference between  # compound  and  # complex  sentence. 1.  Compound_Sentence In a #compound sentence, there are two  # independent  clauses. (#Independent clause means a sentence which doesn't depend on other sentence to complete its sense.) # For_Example :- Everyone was busy, so i went to the market alone. so this sentence has TWO parts:- Everyone was busy I went to the market alone. and both have complete meaning and joined by conjunction "so" This is called a #Compound sentence. The independent clauses can be joined by a coordinating conjunction i.e. for, and, nor, but, or, yet and so on..... 2.  Complex_Sentence In a #Complex sentence, there is an independent, and a dependent clause. Although he was wealthy, he was still unhappy. In this sentence, Although he was wealthy, depends on other clause(he was still unhappy) , to complete its sense. this is called a #Complex sentence. 4th  # Parameter_of_Writing_Module This means a  # range_of_vocabulary  a candidate uses. A students should avoid repeating same words in task 1 and task 2. Therefore, they shouldn't use common noun, verb, adjectives, adverbs etc. look at the statement below:- More and more people are using internet nowadays. you should say:- More and More = A growing number of people = individuals, civilians, masses.... use = utilize nowadays = in the present time, Now this is your paraphrasing:-  In the present time, internet is used by a growing number of individuals. In this way, you show your range of vocabulary and correct use of different sentence structure.

3rd parameter of Writing module Grammatical range and accuracy It means your grammar should be accurate ;however, a range of sentences should also be used if you want to get good band in this parameter. You should use a combination of simple,compound and complex sentences. In the next post i will let you know the difference between compound and complex sentence.

DON'T PANIC............ Make READING your habit. You should underline new words and try to use it in your daily life. You had better read newspapers on daily basis. When you start, try to do only a single passage. Don't ever follow the rule to do many readings because only the tests of reading will not improve you instead whenever you read, try to learn as many new words (vocabulary) as you can. 5 EASY IDIOMS TO USE IN IELTS SPEAKING MODULE On cloud nine   (Very happy):- I was on cloud nine after getting 90% in my exam. The wee hours (Early in the morning) :- We started our journey in the wee hours to avoid traffic.  Under the weather (feeling sick) :- I am feeling under the weather. Feel Blue (to feel sad) :- He was feeling blue.  Early Bird (who gets up early):- I am not an early bird.

What does coherence and cohesion mean???? Coherence and Cohesion means the connection between ideas and sentences. Sometimes, students are unable to show connection between their sentences as well as ideas. For example, if you are asked to mention the benefits of technology, you use to write.....Technology has various benefits. First of all, It keeps the people connected to the world. Now, instead of saying that People can communicate with each other easily with the help of technology,in the next sentence, some students write... It saves time. So, these two sentences i.e. (It keeps the people connected to the world AND It saves time) don't have any connection although they both are meaningful. Both could be used as TWO different ideas. This is another problem which makes your writing weak and reduces band score. After discussing rest two parameters , I will give you a pattern and connectors of writing your ideas which you will find easier as well as interesting. 

HOW THE WRITING IS ASSESSED IN IELTS There are FOUR parameters of writing and speaking module. In this article, You are going to be introduced with the writing module's parameters. However, only a single parameter will be discussed every time to provide you a deep knowledge of every parameter so that you could become able to grasp it easily. The first parameter is....⇓   Task Achievement : Task achievement is also known as Task response. It means you need to give answers to all the questions asked in Task 1 and Task 2. Read the statement below.          Many people, nowadays, are using electronic gadgets. What problems does it cause and          how can we deal with it? Now, in this essay, some students start writing and don't even read the statement deeply. They just start by describing the reasons instead of effects (problems) which is the major reason of band deduction as students don't mention what has been asked. The major point here is to answer wh
